Lots of gorgeous effects: Full SSAO – Advanced Global Lighting Imitation, DOF – Depth of Field, Improved Shadow and much more. In my opinion, this option is one of the best ENB caste modifications for Skyrima. Literally multiple files convert any of your game beyond recognition and add tons of visual effects and it all can be configured like your soul. I think many, I think, know such a person as Boris Vorontsov – the creator of the ENB graphics modification for many games. This video really changes the atmosphere in any interior, whether it is a cave or a tavern. In places, in the original Skyrim, it was pretty silly and sometimes absent or it was inappropriate, did not correspond to reality. This mod is directly aimed at changing the lighting. No more sorting via LOOT then moving specific plugins into place. You can also establish rules for plugins. I outright deleted it (removed a git worktree which was in the Skyrim root directory). Because the files are hardlinked (instead of moved) even the settings in the ini files (those tracked by Vortex at least) were restored. Reinstall all my mods was as simple as hitting "deploy" and took less than a minute. Today I was feeling quite poorly and accidentally deleted my entire Skyrim directory. All you need to concern yourself with is conflicts and not the order things are installed in. Installation (and deployment) are much easier. So I tried Vortex and have over 100 mods active (and growing).
I switched to Vortex because I was convinced NMM was screwing something up. I've been using NMM for years (since Dragon Age: Origins).
I don't care for the UI, but from a technical standpoint, I see no reason to use NMM. I don't recall ever using mod organizer, but Vortex is fantastic.
