I don't use mods because I'm new to gaming and I haven't a clue what a mod is. I never know if what I've done, I've played the way the game was meant to be played or if I've accomplished something because of an infestation of "bugs" in this game. I sometimes think I've "won" a scene when discovering a site - but after crashing and relogging - I come back to enemies shooting at me that weren't there previously.
It simply crashes to the desktop whenever and whereever it pleases. It can freeze up after the intro, maybe when entering/exiting a cave/hideout/etc, sometimes when only walking. Two hours into playing it the first day I purchased the game I began crashing.
I've got the same issues and then some going on. I have owned this game quite a while and personnally I don't see any attempt to fix it being made as two patches have not fixed the crashes and 1.3 brought a new problem which stop me from being able to play but maybe the community has come up with a fix although it isn't the communities job to fix a broken product that never worked right out of the box.ĪNaIs GRelot Posts: 3401 Joined: Tue 6:19 pm I don't have the DLC and I won't buy any with the game in this state as I can't play the game as it as.
ini files and having steam check the integrity of the game files this has not solved anything. I don't have any mod's installed, I have tried re-installing the game yesterday and this has not helped I tried deleting the. As of 1.3 update I now have a new problem I didn't have before on exiting or entering an area it can become stuck on the transition loading screen the animated roulete wheel still spins and the back ground changes but the game will never finish loading, I have left it up to half an hour last night whilst I was busy and came back to find it still there so it isn't just a matter of waiting. First of all is the crashes, they are random in the time it takes for them to happen from when I first start to play but once it has crashed in a particlar place on re-starting the game often it will happen in exactly the same place again imediatley, the crash just causes the game to close but my pc is fine im just back to steam where I can re-start the game and it will re-start. I don't know if any body knows of any fixes so I just though I should ask in the forum, I've made a tech support query to bethesda too but no reply so far and patch 1.3 has not solved any thing and has introduced new problems. I notice that thses errors seem to be quite common even just taking a quick look in this forum and with a google search, but I have the same problems.
